This month, Scott issued a challenge to the team to boost our Google rating through testimonials. We had been previously using “Birdeye” for reviews and customer feedback but the feedback wasn’t widely accessible. We wanted anyone who searched D.S. Murphy to be able to see the positive impact that the team has had on agent/appraiser relationships and striving to keep the industry people-driven. The current real estate climate has appraisers in a difficult position. For many months during COVID appraisal contingencies were waived, appraisal waivers were introduced and the general feeling seemed to be that an in-person appraisal was unnecessary. This is a feeling that we want to negate.
One D.S. Murphy team member commented that it started as a challenge to get reviews but it ended up re-energizing her pursuit of connection with clients. It felt good to remind them that she was there to help, and ultimately, asking for a review left an impression. Her clients will remember her name and associate her with going the extra mile.
The outcome of our challenge was positive all-around. Yes, our rating went up. But it did so because we re-connected. We remembered why we are in this business and particularly working with this company. If you are reading this, and you feel so inclined – Google us – leave a review.
